BANK OF AMERICA KIDS GAME

A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT AND CEO OF ATLANTA SPIRIT LLC BERNARD J MULLIN:

On behalf of our new owners, the Atlanta Spirit LLC, we are pleased to share with you the excitement and passion we have for building the best sports and entertainment organization in the world. Strengthening our presence within the community remains a top priority and we know just how important educational initiatives are in the growth and development of our area youth.

We remain focused on working with educators like you to help us improve our programs such as the Thrashers' Score for Schools and Hawks' Fast Break for Reading programs. These education-based programs take our great sports in the classroom by helping to creatively teach important subject matter while emphasizing the importance of good citizenship.

To this end, we are offering a new twist to the annual Bank of America Kids Game for 2004. This season, the Atlanta Hawks will present the Bank of America Kids Game on October 20, 2004. The Atlanta Hawks Bank of America Kids Game will focus on the NBA's Read to Achieve initiative that aims to help young people develop a life-long love for reading by reaching millions of children through league-wide support from the entire NBA family.

We encourage you to contact the Atlanta Hawks at (404) 878-2858 or log onto Hawks.com for more information on how to reserve space for your class and school. Priority will be given to elementary schools that are currently enrolled in the Atlanta Thrashers Score For Schools and Atlanta Hawks Fast Break for Reading programs.
