ATLANTA HAWKS DELIVER TOYS BY REINDEER AND SLEIGH TO PATIENTS AT CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA AT EGLESTON Hawks Players Surprise Patients and Their Families for the Holidays ATLANTA, GA (December 21, 2011) - On Wednesday, Dec. 21, the Atlanta Hawks will surprise patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston by bringing the holidays to the hospital. Atlanta Hawks players Al Horford, Zaza Pachulia, Jerry Stackhouse, Kirk Hinrich, Jason Collins and Magnum Rolle will be on-site to deliver toys that will arrive by reindeer and sleigh to each and every patient. "During the Atlanta Hawks Season of Giving, we make it a priority to share the gift of basketball with fans both on and off the court," stated Bob Williams, President, Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena. "Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is an exceptional institution, and we are pleased to share in the joy lifting their patients' spirits this holiday season." In addition to receiving toys from the Atlanta Hawks, patients and their families will be invited to a holiday party where they can participate in arts and crafts, play games with the Hawks players and take photos with Harry the Hawk. Hawks players will also conduct one-on-one room visits for patients who cannot attend the holiday party.
