2010 NBA SUMMER LEAGUE SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
ATLANTA, GA (June 15, 2010) -- Following the June 24 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks and 21 other teams, including 11 that appeared in the 2010 NBA Playoffs, in the NBA Summer League, scheduled for July 9-18 in Las Vegas, NV. The games are set to be played at the Thomas & Mack Center and the COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
A schedule of 58 games will tip off on Friday, July 9, with the Hawks, under the direction of new head coach Larry Drew, slated to play five contests starting with a July 12th game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Atlanta, whose five-game schedule will be played at the Thomas & Mack Center, will play the San Antonio Spurs on July 14, the Milwaukee Bucks on July 15, the NBA D-League Select team on July 17, and finish summer league play with the Minnesota Timberwolves on July 18.
Prior to leaving for Las Vegas, this year’s draft picks (#24 and #53) will join 2009 first round selection Jeff Teague and other free agents for several days of workouts locally from July 9-11 on the Philips Arena practice court. Additional info on those practices will be released at a later date.
2010 NBA SUMMER LEAGUE GAME SCHEDULE
Tickets for the 2010 NBA Summer League are on sale and can be purchased by calling 702-739-FANS, through www.UNLVtickets.com or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office and UNLV Ticket Outlets. All general admission tickets are $25 for the day; seniors and children (3-12) are $15 for the day; and children two years and under are admitted free of charge.
