Dear Hawks Fans,
Father’s Day brings back memories of my own father, the late James Drew, Sr. and many of the valuable life lessons he taught to me and my brother: Things like the strength of the family is our love for one another, as the men in the family we were supposed to protect our mother and our sisters. He taught us the importance of doing your best at all times and to never give up on your dreams.
His valuable instruction has helped me become the man I am today. In turn, I have tried to impart these same ideals to my three sons. So that they can become the strong, intelligent, enthusiastic and productive young men they were destined to be. They are still in school and still have some growing to do, but I am as proud of them as my father was of me.
I would like to take this opportunity to encourage our readers to acknowledge and give thanks for the Father or Father figure in your life and to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all Hawks fans and supporters.Sincerely,
