Lamar Patterson moved into the starting lineup in his sophomore season at Pittsburgh, improving his scoring each season.  In his senior year, he led the Panthers to the NCAA Tournament, averaged 17.1 points and was named Second Team All-ACC.

The Milwaukee Bucks drafted Patterson 48th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, but the Hawks traded to get him.  General Manager Danny Ferry said the wing position is the thinnest on the roster right now, and Patterson brings athleticism and shooting to the two guard spot.  He'll be playing in his first Summer League this summer.
