Before the beat of the basketball on the court the Atlanta Hawks Drumline gets the fans in the mood with their rhythmic beats and high step marching before each game.

The C.R.E.A.M. Drum Corps provides pre-game entertainment each and every home game during player introductions. You can also catch them dazzling the crowd for select half-time shows and in the stands leading the crowd in offense and defense chants.

C.R.E.A.M. is an acronym, which stands for Creators of Rudimental Excellence and Movement. Composed of the top talented musicians and percussionist from over 30 of Atlanta’s area schools, this group of young people is redefining and reinventing show style drumlines. The musicians are required to audition for membership and also must meet the requirements of maintaining grades no lower then a B average, be in good standing at school, home and the community. C.R.E.A.M. has a 100% high school graduation success rate with members attending such prestigious colleges such as Morehouse, Norfolk State, Clark Atlanta, South Carolina State, Shaw University and Miles College. Additional programs include summer camp and after school percussion programs which promote character building and guidance for kids ages 6 and up.

The drumline has performed for millions of people and has won many competitions. In addition to Hawks home games you can also find C.R.E.A.M. around Atlanta and the southeast performing at events such as ground breakings, grand openings, parades, rallies and marches, sporting events, festivals, banquets, concerts, and various civic events.
