Hawks point guard Dennis Schröder scored 13 points and added three assists, helping the German national team even their record at EuroBasket 2015 qualifying with a 77-64 win over Austria Wednesday night.

After a heartbreaking defeat three days ago, the Germans appeared to be headed for an 0-2 start.  Down by as many as 10, and down 64-56 with five minutes to go, Germany scored the final 21 points of the game to even their record at 1-1.

Schröder shot well (5-7, 4-4 from two) for the second straight game but played limited minutes in the second half.

Germany plays four more games against teams in their group.  They currently sit in second place and must stay there or higher to have a chance at advancing to the next round.
