5 Positives From Hawks' Loss To Celtics

The Celtics used size and some hot second half shooting to pull away in a 106-93 win over us on Friday.

Despite the loss, there were still some positives from the game.  Here are a few:

1)  Balanced scoring.  It's been a staple of our team in recent years, and Friday was no exception as we had 11 players who scored, including 6 in double figures.  No Hawk had more than 14.

2)  Bench play.  Our bench has been a strength for us all season, and we continued that trend with 37 bench points Friday, led by 10 each from Thabo Sefolosha and Dennis Schröder.

3)  Mike Muscala's spark.  Down by 15 in the fourth, the Hawks used an 11-0 run to get back into the game.  That run was largely fueled by Mike Muscala's activity.  He got to the line 7 times in the quarter and also hit his only field goal attempt.

4)  Thabo Sefolosha's offensive game.  Sefolosha is looking more and more comfortable with each game.  He seems to really be finding his shot in recent games, and he was an effective 5-8 from the field Friday.

5)  Sharing the rock.  We had 26 assists Friday, and while that number is impressive, it actually lowers our assist per game total.  Nevertheless, we continue to find ways to move the ball and create open shots off the pass.
