- So many points, so many numbers. Too many season-highs were set tonight to list out here. - The Raptors lead 25-23 late in the first quarter thanks to hitting 4-of-5 from 3-point range to start the game. Atlanta answered by finishing the quarter 10-1 run to set the stage for the monster second. - The Hawks scored in every way possible in the first half, but dominated the scoring inside the paint in particular (36-14 at halftime). - Josh Smith had four more blocks in the game, increasing his league leading average to nearly 2.8 blocks per contest. See the best one above. - The big cushion created by scoring 81 points in the middle periods allowed all five starters to enjoy the entire fourth quarter from the bench. None of the starters played more than 29 minutes, and Mike Bibby and Smoove played only 22 and 21 minutes, respectively. - Before the starters were given a rest they had taken great care of the ball despite the frantic scoring pace. At the end of the third period the Hawks had only commited three turnovers. - Bibby might have turned in the most efficient performance of the year. He nailed four 3's on four attempts and had five assists and zero turnovers. |
