Honorable Mentions
Josh Smith - 13 points, 13 rebounds

- Tale of Two Halves. Joe Johnson's basket to open the second half gave the Hawks a 53-39 lead and Atlanta seemed to be cruising toward a huge win. Then the wheels fell off. 24 percent shooting (10 of 42) the rest of the way led to just 25 second half points, 10 points lower than Atlanta's previous low for points in a half this season.

- The Hawks established their lead at halftime thanks to a 16-3 run to end the second quarter. The spurt was fueled by sharp shooting from Bibby and Johnson and a thunderous dunk from Horford (see play of the night above).

- Too Much Dwight. After a pedestrian first half (6 pts, 7 reb), Dwight Howard dominated the second half (16 pts, 10 reb). On the defensive end he made the Hawks settle for perimeter jump shots. He held Al Horford to just two points and nine rebounds (seven of the rebounds were in the first half).
