Honorable Mentions:
Joe Johnson - 27 points, 10 assists

- This game had a lot of twists and turns even before overtime began. For example, the Hawks led by five late in the second quarter AFTER a 20-1 run by the Mavs had them down 14. There were times when the game was played at a frantic pace, and there were times when points were hard to come by. This game had a little of everything.

- Fans were treated to a classic battle of veteran point guards late in the fourth quarter as Kidd hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions only to see Bibby answer each time with a 3 of his own on the other end. That all took place in a minute and 15 seconds right in crunch time.

- The game boiled down to the Hawks go-to scorers (Johnson and Crawford) going cold at the wrong times. The duo combined to shoot 2-of-15 in the fourth quarter and overtime.

- Atlanta's bench was outscored 27-22 and only contributed 4 points other than Crawford.
