Court Renovation
In memory of Hawks scout Gary Wortman, who passed away in 2000, the Atlanta Hawks Court Renovation Program builds and renovates basketball courts in underprivileged neighborhoods throughout the Atlanta area each year. At each location, the Hawks and The Home Depot put down new pavement, install new backboards, rims, nets and fencing, as well as make any other needed repairs.

extend its reach into the community are the Lady Hawks, consisting of spouses
and mothers of Hawks players, coaches and executives. Established in 1996, the
Lady Hawks conduct numerous community service projects in the metro Atlanta
