On Saturday, December 22, Hawks guard Dion Glover led a group that visited the Nicholas House, Inc., a shelter for homeless families in the Atlanta area.

Glover, along with his parents (Rev. Franklin Glover and Loretta Glover) and other volunteers, began by providing an early Christmas dinner to shelter residents. The dinners, provided by Kroger, included turkey, green beans, cranberry sauce, dressing and dinner rolls.

Glover, who hails from Decatur, also donated coats, toured the facilities and signed autographs for residents. Later that evening, Glover scored 19 points off the bench to help vault the Hawks to a 101-88 win over Charlotte, helping the team snap a three-game losing streak.
