ATLANTA
(Oct. 20, 2005) -- The Atlanta Hawks Foundation held its 12th annual Golf
Classic at White Columns Country Club in Alpharetta on October 20. The
tournament, which benefited the Hawks Foundation and its numerous philanthropic
endeavors, was sponsored by Philips Electronics, Bud Light, Delta Air Lines,
Sprite, Comcast and Fastsigns of Buckhead.
Since its inception in 1994, the tournament has raised well over $1,000,000. The
event also included lunch, dinner and raffles for a number of unique prizes.
