Partners with Georgia State University on Scholarship Program |

The Atlanta Hawks Foundation
selects a Georgia State freshman each year to receive a five-year, $50,000 grant to
attend Georgia State University (GSU). The recipient is selected
based on their commitment and dedications to education and community service.
Reflecting the passion that the National Basketball Association and its players have for giving back to the communities that support them, the Atlanta Hawks Foundation Scholarship Program will help incoming first-year, full-time GSU students from Georgia.

Atlanta Hawks Foundation Partners with Councilman
Kwanza Hall's Year of Boulevard Initiative to Renovate Four Courts in
Central Park |
| The Hawks Foundation Court Renovation program helps build and renovate basketball courts in deserving neighborhoods throughout metro Atlanta, providing youth with a place to play and be active. Based on location needs, the Hawks install new pavement
and resurface existing courts as well as put up new backboards,
rims and nets. In September of 2012, the Atlanta Hawks Foundation donated $50,000 to renovate the four courts in Central Park. This was done in conjunction with Councilman Kwanza Hall's Year of Boulevard, a comprehensive effort aimed at revitalizing Council District 2’s Boulevard corridor.
