Day 3: Camp Concludes

Day 2: Full-Speed Ahead

Day 2 in Athens was full-speed ahead as Coach Bud continued to implement his system. Full-court activity increased, as well as the level of intensity, and importance on defense continued to be stressed as the main building block for the Atlanta Hawks' identity. Day 1: Defensive Focus

It was all about defense in the Hawks' 1st practice in Athens as the guys worked through several team and individual defensive drills proving that defense would be an important part of the team’s identity. Filling out the Roster

In early September, the Hawks added David Lighty and Eric Dawson to their list of training camp invitees, while Damien Wilkins and Royal Ivey, both former Hawks, accepted training camp invites later in the month. Learn more about each of the September additions here.

Camp Location Set for UGA

For the first time since the 2004-05 season, the Atlanta Hawks have decided to hold the first part of training camp away form Philips Arena at the Coliseum Training Facility on the University of Georgia campus in Athens. Read More | Full Press Release
