Fresh off one of their biggest wins of the season on Wednesday in Boston, the Grizzlies head to Chicago to try and knock off the surging Bulls, winners of their last 13 at home. Only one team has knocked off both the Celtics and Bulls at home this season (surprisingly enough, the L.A. Clippers) and the Bulls have dropped just four games at the United Center all year, so it will be no easy task for Memphis tonight.

MEMPHIS – The Memphis Grizzlies’ Marc Gasol and Xavier Henry are two of 20 NBA players contributing to an effort by Direct Relief International, one of the world’s leading medical organizations, to help the people of Japan recover from the devastating earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011.

Gasol will be donating $1,000 for every point scored tonight when the Grizzlies play the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. Gasol is one of several NBA stars, including Derrick Rose, LaMarcus Aldridge, Pau Gasol, Al Horford, JaVale McGee and Russell Westbrook, to commit that sum for each point scored for select games from March 25-27.

MEMPHIS, March 25, 2011 – Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay underwent season-ending surgery today to repair a left shoulder subluxation, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced today. The surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Pensacola, Fla.
