    Chosen 16th overall by the Boston Celtics. Traded from Boston to the Memphis Grizzlies, along with Dahntay Jones [Duke] the 20th pick. Boston received Memphis' 13th and 27th draft picks, Marcus Banks [UNLV] and Kendrink Perkins [Ozen HS (tx)] respectively.

    USA Basketball Notes:
    --Played for gold-medal winning Team USA in the 2001 FIBA World Championship for Young Men in Saitama, Japan. He averaged 11.9 points, 3.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game in the eight-game tournament. In the team’s title-game victory over Croatia, Bell scored a team-high 24 points, including six three-pointers.
    --Named as one of 16 finalists for the 2001 USA Basketball World Championship for Young Men Team.
