Grizzlies to Participate in Summer Pro-Am League; Summer Camp Tips-Off Wednesday at FedExForum
Memphis, Tennessee – 2006 Draft picks Kyle Lowry and Alexander Johnson will join returning Grizzlies Hakim Warrick and Lawrence Roberts at the team’s free agent/rookie camp scheduled for July 5-7 at the Methodist Healthcare Practice Facility at FedExForum. Following the three-day camp, the team will travel to Long Beach, California July 8-19 to participate in the 2006 Summer Pro-Am League.
Practices for the 2006 free agent/rookie camp will be held twice daily July 5-6. One practice session will be held on Friday, July 7 before the team departs for Long Beach. Please note that camp is not open to the public.
The Grizzlies’ seven-game schedule will feature contests against the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards. Boxscores and game recap information will be available at Grizzlies.com.
A complete summer camp roster will be released on Tuesday, July 4.
