The Orpheum Theatre’s Summer Movie Series will bring basketball back to the Bluff City with a special matinee screening of ‘Space Jam’ on Friday, June 12 at 1:30 p.m., highlighted by appearances from Grizz and the Grizz Girls, the team announced today.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase online at www.orpheum-memphis.com, by phone at 901.525.3000, or in person at The Orpheum Box Office or the ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood. Packages of 10 tickets are available for $50. Groups of 10 or more can enjoy special rates by contacting Lauren Steinkamp at steinkamp@orpheum-memphis.com or 901.529.4226. Attractive packages are also available for Day Cares, Summer Camps, and employee outings.
Fans are encouraged to don their best Grizz Gear and arrive early to hang out with Grizz and the Grizz Girls, take photos at the Orpheum’s signature “selfie station,” and enjoy a pre-show concert on the Orpheum’s Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. Movie-themed coloring activities will be available for children and families courtesy of the Orpheum’s Education Department. Costumes encouraged.
Space Jam is sponsored by Kroger. The Orpheum Theatre’s 2015 Summer Movie Series is presented for a fourth year by Orion Federal Credit Union. The series runs through September 4th and includes classics, comedies, and fan favorites.
