Josh Selby to participate in Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
MEMPHIS, October 26, 2012 – Memphis Grizzlies’ guard Josh Selby will participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K Co-Ed Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. at The Shops of Saddle Creek (7509 Poplar Ave. Germantown 38138).
After losing his great aunt to the disease, Selby and his mother, Maeshon Witherspoon, became passionate about supporting the fight to find a cure. Selby, a supporter of breast cancer awareness, has put together a team, sponsored by Adidas, to participate in the walk because the disease touches him personally.
