Ten Grizzlies Games In High-Definition TV

Memphis, Tennessee, December 21, 2004 — The Memphis Grizzlies, FSN South and Time Warner Cable will deliver ten Grizzlies games in high-definition television to customers with TW Digital Cable across the Mid-South this season. The HD Telecasts, set to begin on Thursday, Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. when the Grizzlies visit Phoenix, will be carried on TW Digital Cable channel 825.

This season, FSN South airs 60 Grizzlies games in standard definition for TW customers, but those who have HD televisions and the HD Set-top box are able to receive 10 of the 60 games in HDTV, at no additional charge.

“High definition coverage is the wave of the future, and the Grizzlies are excited to play a part in delivering this unique viewing experience to our fans across the region,” said Grizzlies Vice President of Broadcasting Randy Stephens.

For each of the 10 dates, the FSN South/TW Digital Cable HD viewing experience includes the Grizzlies half-hour pregame show, Grizzlies Tonight, in addition to the game coverage and the postgame show.
