Center Greg Monroe tied Jeff Green for the game-high with 21 points, shooting at an 8-of-13 clip (61.5 percent). He finished with seven rebounds and two assists, but also added five turnovers.

The Grizzlies defense frustrated athletic small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo all night, holding him to 2-of-10 shooting (20.0 percent) and only seven points.

The Bucks outscored the Grizzlies in the first quarter, taking a 27-23 lead into the second frame. But Memphis took over from there with a big second quarter. The defense held Milwaukee to 14 points on 6-of-21 shooting (28.6 percent), while the offense shot 11-of-24 (45.8 percent) and scored 27 points to hold a 50-41 advantage as the team entered the break.

The Grizz continued to build that lead early in the third quarter, opening with an 11-2 run over the first 3:02 of the second half to take an 18-point lead 61-43. The Bucks were able to get within nine 65-56 with 4:09 remaining in the third frame, but a quick three-pointer from Green put Memphis back up 12.
