On the game:
We had people out. We scratched and clawed. We thought it was going to be easy. We wanted it to be easy. During one of the timeouts, I told them winning is not easy. Even when we have everybody, it’s not easy. You have to go out there and stay focused and committed to what you’re doing, and we did that in the fourth quarter. We had some big plays. Sam (Young) got an offensive rebound. We got a fast break and a dunk to put us down by five. It looked like it was going to be over. They play hard. They struggled to score. We were struggling to score ourselves tonight. Defensively it was a very good effort overall, except for the little mistakes down the stretch. They came out in the third quarter and were running the pick-and-roll. They hit three or four threes, and it looked they had it going. They just couldn’t sustain it, and we were able to get back into our rhythm.

On playing without Zach Randolph:
This win shows how deep this team is. We have a lot of guys that can step up to the occasion and take a different role. I think with Rudy (Gay) and Zach (Randolph) missing time, it showed we can come together as a unit even though we’re banged up. We can still beat good teams.
