Grizzlies fall to Jazz at home

The Memphis Grizzlies sustained their seventh loss at home this season in a 93-82 decision against the Utah Jazz Tuesday night at FedExForum.

Courtney Lee led all Grizzlies scorers with 18 points on 7-13 shooting. Lee made two of seven from beyond the arc, the Grizzlies are now 18-3 when he records at least two or more three-pointers. Kosta Koufos, who started in place of Zach Randolph (illness), recorded six points and hauled a team-high 10 rebounds. Rookie Jordan Adams led the second unit, recording a career-high 13 points on 6-8 shooting.

Utah outscored the Grizzlies .450 to .402 and out-rebounded them 55-37. The Grizzlies are now 11-15 when outshot by its opponent and 16-13 when out-rebounded.

Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward led all Jazz scorers with 21 points. Rudy Gobert scored 15 points and tallied a career-high 24 rebounds in 36 minutes of play. Gobert's 24 rebounds set a Grizzlies single game franchise record for most rebounds hauled by an opponent.

Zach Randolph and Beno Udrih were both out due to illness. Tony Allen was out due to team suspension. All three players were not with the team for this ball game.

Memphis will take a quick one-game road trip to take on the Houston Rockets tomorrow night at 7 pm CT.
