On the win:
We had very good ball movement. We turned them over a few times and got out and ran. They’re not a very good transition defensive team, and we knew we could run on them coming into the game. Even in our half court offense, they were helping a lot, and we were cutting and moving the ball – getting easy shots. It was a nice, solid game. Defensively, we had 21 deflections. In the first half we only had two turnovers, so we weren’t turning the ball over, and we were able to get what we wanted. Everything was really sharp tonight. We did a nice job on C.J. Miles and nice job on (Al) Jefferson. I was pleased with the way we handled those situations. It’s a good win over a team that’s very physical. We obviously benefited from Devin Harris getting hurt. We benefited from them playing last night, but I don’t feel pity for any of those teams because we’ve done it all year long. That’s just the way the NBA is. I’m glad to get these wins at home.

On the team's energy:
I think sometimes you come out and you’re ready to go, but you’re playing aimlessly. They said it to each other in a timeout – ‘We’re just out of rhythm, once we get in rhythm it’s going to be alright. Just keep the energy level up.’ That’s certainly what happened. We started getting steals, and the next thing you know, we’re up 14, 15 points.

On Haddadi:
I think he’s a cult figure here in Memphis. The players love him, and he brought his size to the game tonight. When Marc (Gasol) got two fouls, I didn’t want to come with Darrell (Arthur) and have him guard (Al) Jefferson. Then we would be undersized at both positions. I wanted to go big and stay big. He did a nice job. They couldn’t guard him at the basket. They tried to play zone, and we were able to roll the big down the middle four or five times. That was huge taking them out of the zone. He did a nice job of finishing and fronting the post the same way Marc did before Marc got two fouls.

On the team's performance:
It’s a matter of trust. We make an emphasis on sharing the ball, and moving the ball and playing together. It started with Mike (Conley) and trickled down to affect everybody and get everybody involved.
