2006 Grizzlies Public Address Announcer Auditions

This is not an open call.
In order to audition you must register in advance. Please contact Lauren Hoffmann at 901-205-1414 or send an email to lhoffmann@grizzlies.com to schedule an audition time for Tuesday, August 22nd. Only those invited will return on Wednesday for call-backs.
The P.A. Announcer will be the voice for all home games, and will announce, among other things, team rosters, referees, goals and assists, and prepared scripts which include important sponsor related information and upcoming team events and promotions. The grizzlies are seeking an announcer who has the ability to convey enthusiasm and has a passion and knowledge of basketball. The search is open to all voices and ages.
AUDITION DETAILS
Candidates will be asked to do their best rendition of the Grizzlies starting line-up introductions as well as a basic PA read. Both can be downloaded online at grizzlies.com. Viable candidates will be asked to attend call backs the next evening.
CALL BACK DETAILS
All entries submitted previous to July 31, via CD, tape or other format will be reviewed and candidates will be chosen to attend call backs the evening of August 23.
