Memphis, March 8, 2012 – The Memphis Grizzlies’ regular season contest on Tuesday, March 13 against the Los Angeles Lakers, which will tip-off at 7 p.m. at FedExForum, has sold out. Limited tickets remain for the Grizzlies’ following two home games on Friday, March 16 vs. Toronto (7 p.m.) and Sunday, March 18 vs. Washington (5 p.m.).
The first 10,000 fans in attendance for the March 13 meeting with the Lakers will receive Grizzlies rally flags presented by First Tennessee, while the first 5,000 fans on March 16 vs. Toronto can pick up a Grizzlies Lunch Pail. The Grizzlies will also give away 5,000 Super Grizz mascot cape-and-mask sets on March 18 vs. Washington.
The Grizzlies will honor Bill Courtney and the Manassas High School football team, the subjects of the Oscar-winning documentary Undefeated, during the March 16 matchup with the Raptors. Later that night, the team will celebrate postgame with the 10th Annual Gospel Night, featuring Grammy Award-winning performer Donald Lawrence.
The reigning NBA Mascot of the Year Grizz will celebrate his birthday with some of his closest mascot buddies during the March 18 tilt with the Wizards. During halftime, the Grizzlies Infie 500 Baby Races presented by Ashley Furniture will take place on the main court at FedExForum.
