Hoops for the Hungry is Saturday November 22

Grizzlies team up with ACH Food Companies for a pre-holiday food drive.

MEMPHIS— The Memphis Grizzlies and ACH Food Companies are teaming up for the annual Hoops for the Hungry canned food drive when the Grizzlies host the Utah Jazz at FedExForum this Saturday, November 22, at 7 p.m.

All canned food items will be accepted at FedExForum and will be donated to the Mid-South Food Bank. Fans making a donation will receive a “buy-one-get-one” ticket voucher for a select upcoming Grizzlies game. This voucher is good for one free Terrace or Plaza Level ticket with the purchase of an additional Terrace or Plaza Level ticket for one of the following games: 11/24 vs. San Antonio, 11/29 vs. Oklahoma City or 12/5 vs. Los Angeles Clippers. The Mid-South Food Bank serves charitable agencies that feed hungry and needy people in west Tennessee, east Arkansas and north Mississippi. As the only organization in the region to supply food to all qualified charitable organizations, the Mid-South Food Bank supplies millions of pounds of food to emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters for the homeless, abused women and children, rehabilitation programs, daycares for children, elderly and disabled individuals and after-school programs.

To take part in the Hoops for the Hungry canned food drive and attend the Grizzlies contest against the Utah Jazz on November 22, fans can purchase tickets at all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX, by visiting the FedExForum Box Office or online at Grizzlies.com. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Rudy Gay bobblehead. Grizzlies fans can also take part in Rudy’s 2 for $22 promotion vs. Utah on November 22, in which a pair of Terrace Level tickets will be available for only $22. Purchase tickets.
