
Memphis, Tennessee, August 13, 2004– The Memphis Grizzlies have announced the hiring of Eric Hasseltine as on air host and manager of the Grizzlies Radio Network.
Hasseltine, 31, will continue his role as the pre-game, half-time and post-game radio host during Grizzlies game broadcasts. In addition, he will co-host a regular weekday radio program “Above The Rim” from 6 to 7 p.m. during non-game nights on WRBO-Soul Classics 103.5, the Grizzlies flagship radio station and member of Citadel Memphis Radio Group.
"Over the past three years, Eric has demonstrated his dedication and knowledge of both the Grizzlies and the NBA,” said Vice President of Broadcast Randy Stephens. “We are thrilled to have him joining the team on a full-time basis.”
As Manager of the Grizzlies Radio Network, Hasseltine will take a lead role in recruiting affiliate stations for the network as well as developing those relationships. As part of those duties, he will make guest appearances throughout the Mid-South on behalf of the Grizzlies.
“I came to the Memphis marketplace in 2001 because of the Grizzlies, and I am excited to officially be a part of an organization committed to delivering the best possible experience to its fans and community,” said Hasseltine.

All Grizzlies games can be heard in Memphis on WRBO-Soul Classics 103.5 FM, flagship station of the Grizzlies Radio Network. Grizzlies fans in Nashville, TN, and Little Rock, AR, will hear a partial schedule of games on Citadel stations in those markets.
