MEMPHIS, July 2, 2007 – Memphis Grizzlies first round draft pick Mike Conley, Jr. and returning Grizzlies Rudy Gay, Kyle Lowry, Tarence Kinsey and forward Alexander Johnson will be among the players attending the team’s free agent/rookie camp scheduled for July 3 and 4 at the Methodist Healthcare Practice Facility at FedExForum. Following the two-day camp, the team will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to participate in the 2007 NBA Summer League July 6-15.
The Grizzlies’ five-game NBA Summer League schedule will open against the Chinese national team on July 6, and feature contests against the Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers, before closing on July 14 vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves. This year marks the first time the Grizzlies will play in the 22-team NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
