Fan Appreciation Night; Grizzlies to host Ultimate Fans’ Choice Night for final home game Saturday, April 12
Memphis, March 27, 2008 – Thank You Fans! The Grizzlies are hosting their first ever Ultimate Fans’ Choice game as part of Fan Appreciation Night Saturday, April 12 vs. Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fans logging on to grizzlies.com can immediately vote on which t-shirt giveaway design they would like for that evening. Other elements of the Ultimate Fans’ Choice Night include selecting the halftime entertainment, retail special, entertainment teams, Dance Team routines, player introduction music and much more. Voting runs through April 12, and fans are encouraged to vote online often as offers and game activity choices will change every two days.
“All of us in the Grizzlies organization are indebted to all of our fans and our corporate and community partners who have been so loyal to the team this season,” said Executive Vice President of Business Operations Mike Redlick. “We applaud their support and look forward to a bright future, which we feel is right around the corner.”
Also on Saturday, April 12 at 5 p.m., the Grizzlies will tip-off the day with Fan Appreciation Night plaza activities. Fans are invited to enjoy music, food and beverage, and giveaways. Grizzlies Dance Team members will be on hand for photos and autographs.
The first 5,000 fans to enter FedExForum will receive a free Grizzlies t-shirt courtesy of First Tennessee Bank featuring a design chosen by fans. In addition, select Grizzlies players will greet fans at the doors, while others will be available for pre-game autographs. Special giveaways will randomly be given away during the game and all fans are invited to shoot a free throw on the Grizzlies hardwood after the game.
As in years past, Grizzlies players will once again giveaway the jerseys to randomly selected fans in a special post-game fan tribute on the court.
Fans wishing to attend can do so by taking advantage of a special Fan Appreciation Night ticket offer. All Terrace level tickets will be $10, select Club seats $50 and select Plaza Level tickets $25 for Saturday, April 12.
