Memphis Grizzlies to host annual Holiday Toy Drive at Hilton Memphis December 15
MEMPHIS, December 8, 2008 — The Memphis Grizzlies are doing their part to help make the holidays more joyful for those in need by hosting their Annual Holiday Toy Drive that benefits MIFA’s Holiday Hope Chest on December 15 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Hilton Memphis.
The entire Grizzlies team will be playing the role of Santa in this event that encourages fans to donate new, unwrapped gifts to help make every child’s holiday dreams come true. New, unwrapped gifts that are collected will be donated to MIFA’s Holiday Hope Chest, which provides gifts for families in MIFA’s programs during the holidays.
The first 1,000 fans that are generous enough to contribute to the Memphis Grizzlies Holiday Toy Drive will have the opportunity meet and receive autographs from Grizzlies players. Everyone else in attendance will have the opportunity to enjoy music, prize giveaways and have their picture taken with the Grizzlies mascot Grizz, dressed as Santa Claus, the Grizz Girls and the Grizzlies Street Team.
