Grizzlies announce International Nights
Team invites Spain and China to visit FedExForum
Memphis, December 11, 2007 – Spain Night is back by popular demand and headlines the Grizzlies International Nights. Saturday March 22 vs. the Sacramento Kings, Pau Gasol, Juan Carlos Navarro and the Grizzlies are inviting all Spaniards, all forty million four hundred and thirty one thousand four hundred and sixty two to come to FedExForum and see their national heroes.
The international fun doesn’t stop or start there. The Grizzlies are also inviting all of China, all one billion three hundred and three hundred and twenty one million eight hundred and fifty one thousand, eight hundred and eighty eight to join fellow countrymen Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian when they visit FedExForum. Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets visit Friday December 28 at 7pm followed by Yi Jianlian and the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday February 5 also at 7pm.
“With the continued global growth of the NBA represented by over 76 international players from 30 countries and territories, we want to do everything in our power to support our game,” said Grizzlies President of Business Operations Andy Dolich.
