Grizzlies and ACH Food Companies, Inc. Teaming Up for Canned Food Drive March 13
MEMPHIS, March 8, 2010— The Memphis Grizzlies and ACH Food Companies, Inc. are teaming up for their annual canned food drive when the Grizzlies host the Denver Nuggets at FedExForum this Saturday, March 13, at 7 p.m.
All canned food items will be accepted at FedExForum and donated to the Mid-South Food Bank. Fans making a donation will receive a “buy-one-get-one” ticket voucher for a select upcoming Grizzlies game. This voucher is good for one free Terrace or Plaza Level ticket with the purchase of an additional Terrace or Plaza Level ticket for the Grizzlies contest against the Chicago Bulls on March 16 or their game against the Golden State Warriors on March 20. The Mid-South Food Bank serves charitable agencies that feed hungry and needy people in West Tennessee, East Arkansas and North Mississippi. As the only organization in the region to supply food to all qualified charitable organizations, the Mid-South Food Bank supplies millions of pounds of food to emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters for the homeless, abused women and children, rehabilitation programs, daycares for children, elderly and disabled individuals and after-school programs.
