Tony Allen purchases tickets for fans for giveaway

Allen will give away Opening Night tickets to Grizz Nation at FedExForum on Thursday, October 31 at approximately 2 p.m.

MEMPHIS, October 30, 2013– Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has added to the excitement of the Grizzlies’ regular season home opener by purchasing 500 tickets that will be given away to Grizzlies fans in the FedExForum Grand Lobby immediately following the team’s practice on Thursday, Oct. 31 at approximately 2 p.m.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be a limit of two tickets per person.

The Grizzlies will host the Detroit Pistons in their 2013-14 regular season home opener, presented by First Tennessee Bank, at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 at FedExForum. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the Opening Night Party on the Plaza.  Beginning two hours prior to tip-off, the Party on the Plaza will feature music, inflatables, face painters, balloon artists and official Grizzlies merchandise. Other highlights include appearances from Grizz, the Grizz Girls and the Memphis Grizzline. Also, all fans through the doors will receive a Grizzlies T-Shirt presented by First Tennessee.

Fans who want to support the Memphis Grizzlies and purchase 2013-14 Season Tickets, or 11- and 20-Game Packs can do so by calling (901) 888-HOOP or going online to grizzlies.com.  Season Tickets start at $11 per game.  20-game packs start at $12 per game and 11-game packs start as low as $14 per game.
