Grizzlies announce 2013-14 promotional schedule

Regular season Single Game Tickets go on sale Saturday, Oct. 12 at Noon

MEMPHIS, October 9, 2013 — The Memphis Grizzlies announced their promotional schedule for the 2013-14 regular season. Fans can purchase single game tickets for these games and all other Grizzlies regular season contests up to and including Jan. 20, when the team hosts the New Orleans Pelicans in the 12th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration Game, on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Noon.
Single game tickets for the Grizzlies’ four home preseason contests are on sale now. Tickets start at just $5, and are available for purchase by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX, at all Ticketmaster locations,, the FedExForum Box Office, or online at
When the Grizzlies tip-off the 2013-14 regular season home slate on Nov. 1 against the Detroit Pistons they will welcome Grizz Nation back to FedExForum by giving away a Grizzlies T-shirt to all fans in attendance courtesy of First Tennessee Bank. First Tennessee also will encourage fans to stay on top of the action throughout the 2013-14 season by presenting magnet schedules to all fans for the Nov. 4 matchup with the Boston Celtics and the Nov. 6 matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans.

The team will also distribute a three-set series of collectible player cards, presented by Mercury Printing, at three different games beginning with the Nov. 22 game against the San Antonio Spurs. Fans can continue to build their collection of their favorite Grizzlies players by attending matchups on Dec. 28 with the Denver Nuggets and April 11 with the Philadelphia 76ers where the first 5,000 fans will receive the final card sets. Mercury Printing will also provide posters of the popular Grizz Girls, presented by Gold Strike Casino Resort, to the first 5,000 fans at the Feb. 1 game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Grizzlies will be helping fans get ready for the holiday season with Grizzlies wrapping paper, presented by Mercury Printing, to the first 5,000 fans at the Dec. 11 matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Continuing into the holiday season, City Gear headphones will be gifted to the first 3,000 fans at the Dec. 17 matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. Once the temperatures drop, the fan-favorite Grizzlies scarf will be rewarded to the first 5,000 fans in attendance at the Jan. 14 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Grizzlies fans will have two chances to wave their team’s colors with rally flags if they are one of the first 10,000 in attendance to the Feb. 26 game against the Los Angeles Lakers or on April 4 when Memphis faces the Denver Nuggets. The flags are sponsored by SportSouth and First Tennessee.

Beloved mascot Grizz will be celebrating his birthday at the March 8 contest against the Charlotte Bobcats where he will be up to his usual tricks, treating the first 3,000 fans in attendance to a Super Grizz cape, with Grizz’s matching mask. Grizzlies giveaways will also include the Grizzlies hat given out to the first 5,000 fans at the Feb. 18 matchup with the New York Knicks; Grizzlies basketballs to the first 4,000 fans to the March 1 game vs. Cleveland and sunglasses, presented by Sonic Drive-In’s, to the first 5,000 fans to the March 22 game vs. Indiana. The giveaway schedule concludes with a fan appreciation poster, presented by First Tennessee Bank, to every fan in attendance on April 16 against the Dallas Mavericks, as the team wraps up the regular season.

Pepsi Family plans are back this season, with five different opportunities to bring the entire family to a Grizzlies game.  Starting at $58, families can receive four tickets, four hot dogs and four Pepsi fountain drinks for any of the following five home games: Nov. 22 vs. San Antonio, Dec. 7 vs. Golden State, Jan. 20 for the MLK Day Celebration Game vs. New Orleans, March 8 vs. Charlotte and April 11 vs. Philadelphia.
SportSouth and the Grizzlies have teamed up to make a special offer for the three non-telecast games. These “Home for the Holidays” games, throughout the month of December, on Monday, Dec. 9 vs. Orlando, Sunday, Dec. 15 vs. Minnesota and Monday, Dec. 23 vs. Utah, will have all Terrace III level seats, regularly priced at $20 per game, available for only $10.

The Grizzlies Go Green Expo, presented by International Paper, and Sixth Annual Tour de Grizz bike ride will highlight the team’s March 22 tilt with the Indiana Pacers. Tour de Grizz riders will receive general admission tickets to see the Grizzly bears at the Teton Trek exhibit at the Memphis Zoo and then hop on their bikes for a five-mile ride from the zoo to FedExForum to see the city’s other Grizzlies take the court.
Gospel Night on Jan. 10 vs. Phoenix will provide fans a joyous night of basketball and music, featuring a post-game concert by Grammy-nominated gospel star Marvin Sapp. Back this year, Faith and Family Night will feature the Jan. 17 game against the Sacramento Kings followed by a performance from Billboard Magazine chart-topping Christian artist, BUILDING 429.
