The eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies will take on the fourth-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in a Western Conference Semifinals matchup between two of the fast-rising young teams in the NBA… This is the third postseason meeting between the two clubs who are tied 1-1 in the series. Get full game notes.
Quick Notes
- Memphis won the season series 3-1 over Oklahoma City, including two victories without second-leading scorer Rudy Gay (Feb. 8, March 7), who will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a left shoulder subluxation.
- The Grizzlies jumped out to a 1-0 series lead with a 114-101 victory in Game 1 on May 1, becoming the first eight-seed to win Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals after advancing from a best-of-seven series, while the Thunder evened things up in Game 2.
