Grizzlies Playoff Game 5 to tip-off Wednesday at 7:30pm

Bud Light Playoff Watch Party to Start at 6:30 p.m. at FedExForum

MEMPHIS, April 26, 2011 – Game 5 of the Western Conference First Round Playoff series between the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, April 27  at the AT&T Center and will air locally on SportSouth, the NBA has announced.

Grizzlies fans can watch the team try to eliminate the Spurs and capture the franchise’s first-ever postseason series victory locally on SportSouth, featuring the broadcast crew of play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica, analyst Brevin Knight and sideline reporter Rob Fischer. Game 5 coverage will begin on SportSouth at 7 p.m. with the pregame show Grizzlies LIVE and will be followed by postgame coverage featuring Pranica and Knight.

Memphis, which leads top-seeded San Antonio 3-1, is one win away from becoming the second eight-seed to knock off the one-seed since the NBA expanded the first round to a best-of-seven series (Golden State over Dallas in 2007).

When the series shifts back to San Antonio for Game 5, fans will be sure to want to come to FedExForum for another Bud Light Playoff Watch Party, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase at concession stands and Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7, including chicken wings, burgers and fries. Fans who attend will be able to sit in the seats at FedExForum and watch on Grizz Vision for a game watching experience like none other.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy the game at Jack Daniel’s, and will be joined by Grizz, the Grizz Girls, Claw Crew and Grizzlies inflatables. Free parking will be available in the Toyota Parking Garage located on Linden Ave.
