Grizzlies announce local broadcast schedule for first round

Memphis, April 27, 2012 – The Memphis Grizzlies’ Western Conference First Round Playoff series with the Los Angeles Clippers will be televised locally on SportSouth and FOX Sports Tennessee, the team announced today.

Games 1, 6 and 7 of the First Round of the 2012 Grizzlies’ Playoffs presented by First Tennessee and Memphis-Area Toyota Dealers will be shown on SportSouth while Games 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be televised by FOX Sports Tennessee. All games will feature play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica, analysts Brevin Knight (Games 1, 3, 4, 5, 6) and Sean Tuohy (Games 2 & 7) and sideline reporter Rob Fischer and will be shown in high definition. Coverage of each game begins 30 minutes prior to tip-off with the pregame show GRIZZLIES LIVE, presented by Chuck Hutton Toyota, and will be followed by postgame coverage featuring Pranica, Knight and Tuohy. 

All Grizzlies postseason games will also be carried live on 92.9 FM ESPN Radio and will feature play-by-play announcer Eric Hasseltine and analysts Hank McDowell (Games 3, 4, 5) and Elliot Perry (Games 1, 2, 6/Game 7 TBD). Coverage begins with the pregame show 30 minutes prior to tip-off.

Coming off six straight home playoff game sellouts fans are encouraged to guarantee their playoff tickets by purchasing 2012-13 Season Tickets. Season Tickets start at just $10 per game.
