Grizzlies set to tip-off Fifth Annual Grizz Gala
Event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®
The Memphis Grizzlies are inviting fans from across the Mid-South to join them as they take their moves from the hardwood to the dance floor for the Fifth Annual Grizz Gala, presented by MGM Resorts International’s Gold Strike Casino Resort. The event will take place at Gold Strike Casino Resort (1010 Casino Center Dr., Tunica 38664) on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 7 p.m. - Midnight. All proceeds from this event benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
Tickets will be available at the door at MGM Resorts International's Gold Strike Casino at 6pm for $150 per ticket.
The blue tie affair will give fans a chance to take part in an evening that brings the class and excitement that the Memphis Grizzlies represent on the court and in the community. Gold Strike Casino Resort’s world-class culinary team will prepare a delectable menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres for attendees to enjoy. Throughout the evening guests will be able to enjoy the sounds of Garry Goin and the Memphis Grizzlies House Band, an open bar and will also have an opportunity to meet and participate in interactive games with Grizzlies’ players Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, Mike Miller, Ed Davis, Kosta Koufos and Jon Leuer.
Grizz Gala guests will also have the opportunity to take part in a live and silent auction with one of the most impressive collections of sports memorabilia and one-of-a-kind fan experiences in Grizzlies fundraising history. All proceeds from the auction will benefit St. Jude, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
“Gold Strike has been a long-time supporter of St. Jude, and in more recent years, has formed a solid partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies,” stated Gold Strike General Manager Niklas Rytterstrom. “The Grizz Gala provides a wonderful opportunity for us to support two superstar organizations while presenting one of the most fun and interactive parties all season.”
Organizations and individuals alike are encouraged to take part in an evening that supports the life-saving work conducted at St. Jude. Individual general admission tickets are available for $150 apiece, or there is a discount package offered of 10 general admission tickets for $1,250, a savings of $25 per ticket.
