Game 5 to tip off Tuesday, April 30

MEMPHIS, TN April 26, 2013 – The NBA has announced that Game 5 of the Western Conference First Round Playoff series between the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers will tip-off at 9:30 p.m. CT at STAPLES Center on Tuesday, April 30. The contest will be televised locally on FS Tennessee.
Broadcast in high definition, Game 5 will feature play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica, analyst Brevin Knight and sideline reporter Rob Fischer. Coverage will begin at 9 p.m. CT on FS Tennessee with the pregame show Grizzlies LIVE, presented by Chuck Hutton Toyota, and will be followed by postgame coverage featuring Pranica and Knight.
Game 5 will also be carried live on 92.9 FM ESPN and will feature radio play-by-play announcer Eric Hasseltine and analyst Hank McDowell. Coverage begins with the pregame show 30 minutes prior to tip-off hosted by Gary Darby.
Like with Games 1 and 2 of the series, the Grizzlies and Budweiser of Memphis are hosting five simultaneous watch parties for the team’s playoff road games. The Budweiser Playoff Watch Parties will take place at Blind Bear Speakeasy (119 South Main St., Memphis 38103), Hooter’s Downtown (250 Peabody Pl., Memphis 38103), Bayou Bar and Grill (2094 Madison Ave., Memphis 38104), Buffalo Wild Wings (Hacks Cross) and Skimo’s (1166 North Houston Levee, Cordova, 38108). The parties begin at 9 p.m. in anticipation of the Grizzlies’ 9:30 p.m. tip-off against the Clippers.
