Grizzlies Draft Workouts June 11
Today's workout included one lone player, but a player whose name many will recognize. Former Illinois foward and Big Ten Player of the Year Brian Cook (PF 6-10, 240, Illinois) was put through his paces at Rhodes College. Assistant Coach Tony Barone, Sr. left quite impressed.

Grizzlies.com: "How was the workout?"
BC: ""Today's workout was very different, but exciting. It was good, and I feel like I am in good shape. It was a bit harder to finish the workout with just myself, but I worked hard and did what I could"."
Grizzlies.com: "Where do you think you'll be drafted?"
BC: "As far as knowing where I'll be drafted, I just don't know where I'll end up. Right now, I can only anticipate the Draft and the whole experience."
Assistant Coach Tony Barone, Sr. on Brian Cook.
Grizzlies.com: "How would you characterize Brian's game?"
TB: "He is athletically sneaky. He is an excellent passer. We wanted to see his positiion ability, to see if he could go at the three and the four. He definitely has that, as well as the potential to guard a three and a four. He also has a great spring, and is a good shot blocker and a very, very good player."
Grizzlies.com: "Is Brian potentially a first-rounder?"
TB: "He is a very good player. In my eyes, he isn't a bubble first round player, he is a first round player."
