    Grizz Select Drew Gooden and Robert Archibald
     The Grizzlies added some punch to their forward line with Kansas power forward Drew Gooden, selected #4 at Wednesday's 2002 NBA Draft. Gooden was a first-team All-American last season. With their first pick in the second round, 32nd overall, they selected Illinois forward Robert Archibald.

    Jerry West Previews Draft Day and the Grizzlies Big Decision
    Monday afternoon, Jerry West, President of Basketball Operations for the Grizzlies gave local and national media his take on the upcoming NBA Draft and the Memphis Grizzlies' big decision. West was joined by General Manager Dick Versace and Head Coach Sidney Lowe. West told the media that the Grizzlies will be "very aggressive in pursuing opportunities."
