Chosen 20th overall by the Boston Celtics. Traded from Boston to the Memphis Grizzlies, along with Troy Bell [BC] the 16th pick. Boston received Memphis' 13th and 27th draft picks, Marcus Banks [UNLV] and Kendrink Perkins [Ozen HS (tx)] respectively.

--Named as one of 16 finalists for the 2001 USA Basketball World Championship
for Young Men Team.
