Memphis Grizzlies announce 2014-15 promotional schedule

The Memphis Grizzlies today announced their promotional schedule for the 2014-15 regular season, featuring fan-favorite giveaways and new promotions and prizes. In addition, starting on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m., fans will be able to purchase single game tickets for all Grizzlies regular season and preseason contests.

Tickets start at just $10, and are available for purchase by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX, at all Ticketmaster locations, Ticketmaster.com, the FedExForum Box Office, or online at grizzlies.com.

When the Grizzlies tip-off the 2014-15 regular season home slate on Oct. 29 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, they will welcome Grizz Nation back to FedExForum by hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Night and will giveaway pink Grizzlies Headbands to the first 10,000 fans in attendance courtesy of First Tennessee Bank. First Tennessee also will encourage fans to stay on top of the action throughout the 2014-15 season by presenting magnet schedules to all fans for the Nov. 3 matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Nov. 11 matchup featuring the return of Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers to FedExForum will be highlighted by Ashley Furniture Military Salute Night, where the first 5,000 fans in attendance will be rewarded with a Grizzlies Camo Hat. New this season, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will present Grizz Fit Night at the Nov. 15 matchup against the Detroit Pistons. Together, the Grizzlies and BlueCross are committed to building strong and measurable adult- and youth-based fitness initiatives helping to ensure that all Memphians have access to healthy choices. At the Nov. 23 game against the Los Angeles Clippers to tip-off the week of Thanksgiving, Thank You Cards presented by Mercury Printing, will be given to the first 5,000 fans.

The Grizzlies will be helping fans prepare for the holiday season with fan-favorite Grizzlies Wrapping Paper, presented by Mercury Printing, to the first 5,000 fans at the Dec. 19 matchup with Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. Once the temperatures drop, the always popular Grizzlies Scarf will be distributed to the first 3,000 fans in attendance at the Dec. 26 game against the Houston Rockets.

Debuting this season, Grizzlies Wrestling Belts will be given to the first 3,000 fans at the Jan. 31 matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder as a part of Wrestling Night. Grizzlies Flip Flops will be handed out to the first 5,000 fans at the Feb. 27 game vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. On Mar. 27, the first 5,000 fans will receive a Tree Sapling at the Grizzlies Go Green Game vs. the Golden State Warriors, presented by International Paper. Also new this season, Z-Bow-Ties will be given to the first 5,000 fans in attendance at the April 4 tilt with the Washington Wizards.

Grizzlies fans will have two chances to wave their team’s colors with Rally Flags if they are one of the first 10,000 in attendance to the Dec. 5 game against the San Antonio Spurs or on Jan. 24 when Memphis faces the Philadelphia 76ers. The flags are sponsored by First Tennessee and SportSouth.

Beloved mascot Grizz will be celebrating his birthday at the March 14 contest against the Milwaukee Bucks where he will be up to his usual tricks and treating the first 5,000 fans in attendance to the Marc Gasol Growth Chart, presented by First Tennessee. Grizzlies giveaways will also include Grizz Girl Posters, presented by Mercury Printing, to the first 5,000 fans in attendance at the Jan. 17 matchup against the Trail Blazers.

The first 5,000 fans at the matchup against Oklahoma City on April 3 will be given the Super Grizz Cape Set. To conclude the promotional schedule, all fans at the regular season home finale on April 15 against the Indiana Pacers will receive a Grizzlies Poster, presented by First Tennessee, for Fan Appreciation Night.

Pepsi Family plans are back this season, with five different opportunities to bring the entire family to a Grizzlies game. Starting at $58, families can receive four tickets, four hot dogs and four Pepsi fountain drinks for any of the following five home games: Nov. 15 vs. Detroit, Dec. 12 vs. Charlotte, Jan. 19 for the MLK Day Celebration Game vs. Dallas, Feb. 8 vs. Atlanta and March 14 vs. Milwaukee.

New this season to Grizzlies home games is Thirsty Thursdays. For just $50, fans at Thirsty Thursday will receive a game ticket, flight of beers and food in the soon-to-debut Draft Room on the First Tennessee Club Level. The Draft Room will feature over 20 local, domestic, microbrew and craft beers along with a variety of food pairings. Thirsty Thursdays are scheduled for Nov. 13 vs. Sacramento and Jan. 29 vs. Denver.

The coolest group deal for Grizzlies fans is now at FedExForum. Groups of 15 or more can book seats in the First Tennessee Club Level for any regular season home game through December and receive a free Grizzlies Scarf for each attendee.

The fastest growing youth basketball program in the Mid-South, Junior Grizzlies Basketball, is now a part of Grizz Nation. Starting at just $25 per participant, each member of the league will receive a Grizzlies game ticket, a reversible jersey, access to exclusive experiences and a lifetime of memories.
