Grizzlies to host Annual Tip-Off Luncheon, October 29
Event to benefit Memphis Grizzlies House at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
MEMPHIS, September 21, 2012— The Memphis Grizzlies are ready to celebrate the start of the team’s 2012-13 season with the Annual Tip-Off Luncheon presented by First Tennessee Bank on Monday, Oct. 29 at FedExForum from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Grizzlies fans in attendance will have the chance to welcome back the entire team of players and coaches and talk with them about the upcoming season. Fans will also have the opportunity to get coaching strategy from Head Coach Lionel Hollins and learn about the business of basketball from General Manager Chris Wallace. Luncheon attendees will have the chance to take part in the silent and live auctions held throughout the event featuring unique memorabilia and one-of-a-kind fan experiences as well. The team store and merchandise kiosks will also be open for fans to get the latest gear.
Individual tickets are $60, with tables of 10 available for $500. For $2,000, fans can purchase a table that will allow them to sit with a Grizzlies player, coach or executive. All proceeds benefit Memphis Grizzlies House at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Download registration form.
Doors open at 11 a.m., followed by the event and program from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tables will go fast, so fans are encouraged to reserve a spot today (registration form is attached). Mercury Printing and ServiceMaster are associate sponsors of the Annual Tip-Off Luncheon.
