MEMPHIS, April 19, 2012 – The Memphis Grizzlies announced today that playoff tickets for Home Games 1 and 2 of the First Round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs will go on sale Tuesday, April 24 at 10 a.m. The 2012 Grizzlies Playoffs are presented by First Tennessee Bank and Toyota.
Dates and times of home playoff games for the Grizzlies, who are making their second consecutive appearance in the NBA Playoffs, will be announced following the end of the 2011-12 NBA regular season.
All seats at FedExForum will be available for purchase. Members of Grizz Nation interested in purchasing tickets on Tuesday for Home Games 1 and 2 can do so at all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling 800-745-3000 or 901-888-HOOP, by visiting the FedExForum Box Office or online at grizzlies.com or ticketmaster.com.
Coming off six straight home playoff game sellouts fans are encouraged to guarantee their playoff tickets before the public on-sale by purchasing 2012-12 season tickets. Season tickets start at just $10 per game. In addition, existing MVP Season Ticket Holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance during a pre-sale event on Monday, April 23. A presale invitation will be delivered to these individuals on Friday for Monday’s presale event that will take place from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
As the Memphis Grizzlies enter the stretch run of the 2011-12 season, the team is unveiling a new forum for fans to showcase their grit and grind as Memphis drives toward the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Fans are encouraged to display their favorite Grizz gear through the “Show Your Colors” photo contest on Grizzlies.com.
As part of the “Show Your Colors” photo contest, fans can present their best Beale Street Blue and Grizzlies Gold attire by submitting photos on Grizzlies.com to share with all Grizzlies fans. Memphis-area fans who share photos will be eligible to win a pair of tickets to a Grizzlies home playoff game. Photos can be submitted at Grizzlies.com, on the Grizzlies Facebook page via the “Show Your Colors” tab or on Twitter by tweeting a photo along with one of the following hashtags: #GrizzNation or #BelieveMemphis.
