Grizzlies Go Green with Kroger - 4/7/11
In conjunction with NBA Green Week, Sam Young and Greivis Vasquez participated in a Go Green project presented by Kroger. Staff members from Kroger and the Grizzlies’ front office joined the players in helping to clean up and prepare a community garden, which will be used as a teaching tool for area schools. The garden will be maintained by local churches and members of the surrounding schools and community, with all produce grown benefitting local seniors. Take a look at photos from the event:
