After a tough first quarter, the Grizzlies clamped down on defense, powering past Washington 85-76. Mike Conley had 18 points to lead Memphis while Marc Gasol had a season-high 15 rebounds and added 13 points. Tayshaun Prince scored 14 in his Grizzlies' debut.
